Sentiment analysis
A line of best-fit-analysis would suggest that insurance has a slightly positive sentiment weighed down by climate change effects, concerns about management of client records and changes to US Health policies. On the positive side technological improvements are expected to reduce claims and operating costs.

Pie charts
The insurance industry is in the foothills of what looks like a massive mountain to climb through technological disruption, demographic changes and new regulatory rules. Over the next 25 years we can expect the insurance industry to be disrupted by driverless cars, wearables, AI and new forms of service and products. Though most efforts are currently in early stage the likely impact on all insurance providers and regulators is likely to move from High to Very High, quite soon. Its likely that new digital players will enter the insurance marketplace with companies like Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway and JPMorgan already dipping their toe in the sector.

Radar chart
Athena thinks the top three sectors that will benefit from disruption of the insurance market are healthcare,  IT and security.

Graphit
The chart below confirms that the greatest disruptions will come from software (including the IoT, Blockchain and Wearbles), driverless cars and robots that will increase safety for humans in perilous situations and for seniors in their homes.

Countries
Leading the charge is China, with North America and the UK making headway. These are likely to be the countries taking most market share in the decades above.

Heat map
The heat map compares which sectors and topics will likely have the highest intensity going forward, Blockchain, Science, Transport, Manufacturing, Technology, Financial Services and Consumer figure highest across all sectors and topics.

Athena
Athena does show duplicates to aid your understanding of themes as well as contradictory forecasts. She may also show near-duplicates. You can speed read past the duplicates and near-duplicates if you wish, though the latter may show additional information. You can use the contradictory, and likely uncertain forecasts she finds to imagine different scenarios. The future is unpredictable, but we can examine the possibilities and choose our preferable future from the choices she presents.
Athena is apolitical. She will report forecasts from different viewpoints however distasteful that might be to our own values. Wearing rose-colored glasses is not her purpose; reporting potential futures is. So, we recommend you check her veracity before responding to her extracted forecasts.

Just like humans, Athena can be fallible. Do recognize that you and your associates are biased too. But whereas you tire, make mistakes and only recognize what interests you, she does not. She might miss or misinterpret as you do, but with far less frequency and she'll take uncomfortable truths and alternative ideas in her stride. But, please let us know if you feel her bias can be reduced. We want to do our best for you. And, as with any research, you should check and triangulate her findings for yourself.
